Even many people who can’t get with most John Cage pieces can often find something to like about his Sonatas and Interludes for prepared piano. Could it be because they are beautiful? In honor of what would have been Cage’s 100th birthday, Vicky Chow (Bang on a Can) will perform them in an hour-long set on Monday, February 13th at 8pm. It’s free!
